I wouldn’t lie. A lot of motivational speeches on YouTube are fascinating. Thanks to those who compiled them.
Yes, most of them are clichés. But who cares. Clichés are reminders. Everyone needs reminders or maybe a boost, especially when feeling down. Words are powerful.
Here are a few that I happen to reflect a lot (I rephrased some of them). Please read slowly. Absorb every bit.
Life doesn’t give you what you want, it gives you what you deserve.
If nobody helps you, be thankful. This means you need to double your effort to solve what you need to solve. And that will make you a better person.
Exercising is not just for your body — it’s also for your mind.
Insecure people put their insecurities on other people. Ignore what they say.
There are so many distractions in life — TV, social media, shallow talks, toxic people, and so on. You can’t always avoid them. But you can.
If you want to be great at something, you need to do things that you never did.
Happiness is the result of sustained self-discipline.
Self-discipline is not punishment — it is the definition of self-love. It is training yourself to become a better version.
If you want to learn self-discipline, learn to be okay with discomfort. Do things that seem impossible to you.
I’ve never written about motivation before. I know there are people who are really good at motivating others.
I wonder, do they really understand what motivation is?
There’s a lot of mystery behind it that people never talk about. 🤔
How about you?
What do you do when you feel unmotivated?
