Your neighbor is sick. Make a homemade soup for them. Make them smile.
Your coworker is crying. Ask why. Lift their spirit.
Your boss or employee is unhappy. Open up. Listen and engage. Offer solutions. Perhaps they need help, too.
Your friend is brokenhearted. Comfort them. Share a funny or inspiring story. Remind them that the pain will pass. Remind them the beauty of life. Empathize.
You see someone commit mistakes — don’t blame. Help them learn. Offer solutions. Encourage them to become better. Nobody’s perfect.
They’re not eating decent meals 2 days in a row, but you have plenty of food in your fridge. Give some to them.
They don’t have money, but you have so much. Offer help (even once).
Look how many shoes you have, how many gadgets you have, how many clothes you have. Do you really need all of them? Donate some.
You have so much time: you play video games and watch movies all day. Do something to make the world a better place. Volunteer — help your community, create something beneficial to others, clean the environment, plant trees. Go out. Make a difference.

So you’re successful? Why don’t you help others succeed? Show them a better way or a new perspective. Offer some tools they need.
A beggar begs for money. What would you do? Three options: (1) Call a government official for help; (2) Give the beggar some food, clothes, money, or a new shelter; (3) Adopt the beggar. (If you know other options, share it please.)
Your best friend is cheating on her wife. Help him realize how bad it is — it will never be good. Do something even that means losing your friendship. You might save a family.
Help a lost stranger. Help your relatives solve their life problems. Help your mother organize the house. Help your friend find a work that matters. Help a senior citizen cross the street. Help somebody in any way.
Do good things even if others don’t. And be human, even if others don’t.
We are born to help each other, not to compete. We are born to be compassionate, not be selfish. And we are born to love, not to spread hatred. We are born humans.
Imagine a place where all people help each other. Isn’t that great?
