Decide the 3 most important things to you.
Do them as early as possible (or when there aren’t many distractions).
Doesn’t matter how many hours or minutes you spend.
As long as you do all of them, that counts as a productive day.
This is often overlooked because other people — those influencers and so-called gurus — have made us believe that having a lot of accomplishments in a day is ideal.
That’s why we feel bad for ourselves for doing so little.
But what if those are the only 3 important things you truly need to do?
Of course some days you don’t have much control. You might skip the 3 things to take care of some urgent things.
Other days might be 5 things.
That’s fine. The point is to stay aware of what matters to you. Because when you’re aware, you can easily refocus.
But the biggest benefit of all is having the peace of mind knowing that you’re living the kind of life you wanted.
Regardless of your circumstances.
