What (the fck) Happened to You?

I don’t know…

But I’m pretty sure that you used to smile often.

You laugh. You jump around. You scream for joy.

Wooooh!

You even invited your friends for an overnight.

And just watched TV or talked about random stuff.

Then you made fun of each other.

Painted the face of the first one who fell asleep.

Nobody got mad. It was all fun!

You were happy.

And heaven knows you had dreams — the wildest dreams.

You wanted to try things and build something extraordinary and travel the world and taste every exotic food in each country.

Wanted to be like this. Wanted to be like that.

You used to ask questions — a lot. The weird ones.

You even logged your thoughts in a notebook filled with doodles of your favorite cartoon characters.

You were curious. Creative. Adventurer. And very playful.

You were at some point, radiating hope and light and positivity.

You were you.

Until one day it all went down the drain.

You decided to be boring.

Because being boring feels safe.

Being boring pays the bills.

So there you go.

Welcome to your new boring life.

Congratulations.

But when will you stop lying to yourself?
