Amazon Services LLC Associates Program is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn commissions by linking to Amazon.

This means that whenever you buy a book on Amazon from a link here, I receive a small percentage of its price.

It’s not that much. But it would surely help me fund what I’m doing.

Yes, I’m kind of monetizing Craftdeology now despite the fact that I dislike the concept of monetizing (for the sake of earning money). Why?

Two reasons:

1. I didn’t intend to monetize this site when I started it.
2. I’m not a fan of monetizing something.

If you follow Craftdeology for a while, you know that I’ve shared a lot of my opinions about money. You know what I mean.

But I’m not delusional. I know we all need money to survive in this modern world. Nothing’s evil with money, or monetizing.

However, I also value honesty. I don’t want to hide anything from my readers.

So when I decided to share the books I’ve read throughout my self-improvement journey from 2014-2020 (thanks to a reader who emailed me asking for book recommendations, you inspired me to do this), I realized that maybe linking those books to Amazon and getting a small commission is a good idea.

I’m not sure about it. I might change my mind in the future. But I’ll give it a try.

Don’t worry. I still have a job. My family is fine. And I’m perfectly content with my life now. I’m grateful that I am here, still alive. And that’s all that matters to me. 🙂
