Insecurities lead to bad decisions.
You do things out of fear.
You wear an “I am a professional mask”, and pretend you’re tough.
But deep inside you’re rotting. A walking time-bomb.
And because of your insecurities, you exert excessive effort into things that don’t need much effort.
You’re anxious all the time. You’re scared that someone will find out that you’re just pretending.
You wake up each day worried that something bad will happen.
You keep praying, hoping for the best.
But you can’t deny it — it’s still there.
And worst of all, you’re reading this, disagreeing with everything I wrote.
That’s why you can’t move forward.
So what to do?
Acknowledge your insecurities.
Start there.
But what made you insecure?
Something undesirable happened to you in the past.
And with social media, where you endlessly compare yourself to others, you 10x your insecurities.
But you can’t change the past. You know that. Can you do something about it instead in the present so you don’t fall victim to your dark past? Yes.
Your insecurities, however, are not the problem — they’re symptoms of a problem.
The problem is you want to be in control. You want life to be perfect.
Flash news: You can’t. It’s not.
Life is uncertain and unpredictable. You only have limited control.
That is life’s nature. That’s the way it is.
You have to accept life for what it is and embrace it. Let go of all your pre-conceived notions.
And that is when you start to become peaceful.
Inner peace is everything.
When you’re at peace, you do the right things for yourself and the people around you.
