Thoughts all over the place.
Anxious. Angry. Confused.
Frustrated. Exhausted. Burned out.
Sick and tired of all the things happening around you.
You’re not alone. It’s a human condition. It’s our nature.
It happens to me. Happens to every person you know.
But it’s also important to understand that it’s just a temporary state.
It’s always possible to immediately shift our state.
Start with this:
- Breathe deeply. Inhale. Exhale. Make your exhale much longer than inhale. Repeat.
- Acknowledge your position. Are you sitting? Standing? Lying on the bed? Focus on that for a moment while breathing.
- Repeat this thought, “It’s okay to experience this. It’s teaching me something. It’s part of living.”
Those thoughts aren’t completely evil. If anything, they give us the opportunity to reconnect with our true selves.
Without those unwanted thoughts, we’d never find a reason to improve and explore what it truly means to live.
Life is a training ground. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger and wiser.
